“Before the Flood” will show at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 25, at the Mary Riepma Ross Media Arts Center.

“Before the Flood,” a film presented by National Geographic, features Leonardo DiCaprio on a journey as a United Nations messenger of peace, traveling to five continents and the Arctic to witness climate change firsthand.

DiCaprio goes on expeditions with scientists uncovering the reality of climate change and meets with political leaders fighting against inaction.

The film will be followed by an expert panel to address any additional questions.

The event, sponsored by the University Program Council, is free for university students and $5 for faculty, staff and public.
