The University of Nebraska–Lincoln is investing in a comprehensive approach to advance professional development for the entire university community. That work is being guided by the N2025 strategic plan.

The College of Arts and Sciences is striving to strengthen professional development — which is the focus of Aim Six within the N2025 plan — by creating a hiring advisory board and offering an active staff council. The college also provides leadership development opportunities and holds graduate student career development workshops. Watch the video below to learn more.

Spotlight video: Professional development in the College of Arts and Sciences

As the university enters the third year of the strategic plan, campus leaders recently gathered to discuss progress made toward the document’s six aims and related goals.
