A festival will be held on the green space around "Torn Notebook," and inside the Temple Building.

Lincoln Artists: Collective Interactive Gallery is hosting a festival of local artists 4 to 11 p.m. May 13 at the Temple Building.

LA CIG is a multimedia art gallery project that brings together as many types of art as possible to get to know one another in the community. The project’s goal is to allow people a unique opportunity to get to see and experience art in a tangible way that makes them feel like they too could and would be interested in doing art.

The festival will feature food, fine art, music and film. The schedule is as follows:

  • Tea Party, 4 to 6 p.m., outside the Temple Building, near “Torn Notebook” sculpture — Enjoy local culinary artists’ creations off of local ceramic artists’ plates.Tarot card readings and henna to be offered. Pets welcome.

  • Gallery space, 6 to 8 p.m., Temple Building Lab Theatre, Room 304 — View and interact with visual art such as paintings, drawings, ceramics, photography, sculptures and fashion from local Lincoln artists.

  • Film and video, 8 to 9 p.m., Temple Building, Rooms 306 and 307 — Watch short films and other video media created by local Lincoln artists.

  • Music and karaoke, 9 to 11 p.m., Temple Building, Room 304 — Watch local bands The Afterschools and Saving Fiona play and then enjoy karaoke free to the public afterwards.
