April 26 talk to explore virtual reality’s role in teaching

Designing for Learning with A-Frame

A talk on virtual reality’s role in learning and teaching will begin at 3:30 p.m. April 26 in Henzlik Hall, Room 46.

The free and public talk will be led by Matt Kilbride, a graduate student with a specialization in Innovative Learning Technologies. The specialization is part of the Teaching, Learning and Teacher Education program at Nebraska.

In his lecture, Kilbride will outline the potential of virtual reality in education, explaining how educators can utilize a simple JavaScript-based platform called A-Frame to make their curriculum more engaging.
