The Employee Assistance Program will host a six-week educational and experiential class for couples.
The Gottman Institute Seven Principles Couples class is designed for any couple in a committed relationship. Topics covered include:
Fostering respect, affection and closeness in a relationship;
Building and sharing a deeper connection with each other;
Keeping conflict discussions calm and breaking through conflicted gridlock; and
Strengthening and maintaining gains in a relationship.
Classes begin Oct. 3 and the deadline to register is Sept. 19. A one-time materials fee of $49 covers educational materials, including two Couples guides, a copy of the Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work, and Love Maps and Open-Ended Questions card decks.
