Ademokoya expands understanding of destructive pest
Video: She's a Scientist — Blessing Ademokoya
Welcome back to “She’s a Scientist,” a video series launched to highlight the work of female researchers at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
Today, we’re showcasing Blessing Ademokoya, a recent Nebraska U graduate who identified six new species of stink bug, a pest that can destroy corn and soybeans. Her work helped expand understanding of the tiny buys and how to control them.
“She’s a Scientist” videos are a regular feature in Nebraska Today. To nominate a researcher for the series, email email@example.com or call 402-472-8515.
