The Center for Transformative Teaching and Patty Sollars, director of undergraduate education programs, are offering instructor workshops on integrating Achievement Centered Education coursework, including ACE 101 and ACE 102.

The ACE 101 workshop will focus on the ACE process, including what the syllabus should contain, how to evaluate assignments using the ACE rubric, and what to do with ACE data once acquired.

The workshop will be offered 9 to 10 a.m. on Jan. 7 and 8.

The hands-on ACE 102 workshop will use the backward design framework to develop course objectives and ACE objectives that complement one another and are mutually represented in a “signature assignment.”

The ACE 102 workshop will be offered 10:30 a.m. to noon on Jan. 7 and 8.

All workshops will be held at the Jackie Gaughan Center, Ubuntu 202. Participation in the ACE 101 workshop is not required for attendance at the ACE 102 workshop.
