60 cases of COVID-19 reported on campus Dec. 31 - Jan. 6

The University of Nebraska–Lincoln reported 60 positive cases of COVID-19 during the most current seven-day period (Dec. 31 - Jan. 6).

During that same span, 691 tests were conducted on students, faculty and staff. Tests are conducted (by appointment only) on campus at the TestNebraska facility in the 17th and R Streets parking garage, the University Health Center and the random mitigation testing station in the East Stadium loop, as well as at off-campus medical facilities. The positivity rate during the week was 8.7%.

Since university-specific testing began on Aug. 12, 2,129 total cases have been recorded out of 23,547 tests, for a positivity rate of 9%.
