The Nebraska Running Club is hosting its fifth annual run for Matt Talbot Kitchen and Outreach at 4 p.m. April 15.

Winners will receive gift certificates, and there will be raffle prizes, food and water the day of the race.

This event is open to the public.

Registration is currently available and will be available on the day of the race. Cost is $15.

Registration and number pickup will start at 3:15 p.m. in the Harper residence hall north parking lot. The run will begin on the nearby trail.

All runners will be entered into a raffle drawing for a $20 Fleet Feet gift certificate, and race winners will receive $25 Lincoln Running Company gift certificates.

This is the fifth annual run for Matt Talbot Kitchen in Lincoln.

The goals of Matt Talbot are to serve the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of Lincoln’s working poor and homeless through outreach, advocacy, education and the provision of food and shelter.

Proceeds will benefit Matt Talbot directly.
