During that same span, a total of 1,059 tests were conducted on students, faculty and staff. Tests are conducted (by appointment only) on campus at the TestNebraska facility in the 17th and R Streets parking garage and the University Health Center, as well as at off-campus medical facilities.

Since university-specific testing began on Aug. 12, 313 total cases have been recorded out of 1,918 tests, for a positivity rate of 16 percent.

This report will be generated weekly and presented in Nebraska Today. Data is gathered from the university’s COVID-19 dashboard, which is tracking case and test totals daily. All COVID-19 testing information is provided to the university from the Lincoln-Lancaster County Health Department.
