19 ROTC members receive military commissions

Air Force, Army and Naval ROTC members recite the oath of enlistment during the undergraduate commencement ceremony May 18 at Memorial Stadium.

Nineteen members of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Reserve Officer Training Corps received military commissions May 17-19.

Eleven cadets in Army ROTC were commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Army on May 17; three midshipmen in Navy ROTC received commissions May 18, two as ensigns in the U.S. Navy and one as a second lieutenant in the U.S. Marine Corps; and five cadets in Air Force ROTC were commissioned second lieutenants in the U.S. Air Force on May 19.
