Bio

Doak Nickerson primary focus is forest management, he has worked as a district and extension forester with the university since 1981. He has also worked as a consultant forester for Colorado based company Jirdon Agri. Chemicals, the Wyoming Natural Resources Foundation, and Burlington Northern Railroad. In 2005, Nickerson become the Northwest District Forester for the Nebraska Forest Service.

Bio

James Stubbendieck is an emeritus professor of grassland ecology. He has done research in restoration of grassland vegetations, restoration and evaluation of wetland vegetation and the influences that come with prescribed burning and mowing on grassland vegetation. Stubbendieck has written 18 books and 110 articles about wildfires and grassland management.
