Chris Bilder studies categorical data analysis, group testing, R software, statistics in sports, and statistics education. He and his team were recognized by the American Statistical Association’s Scientific and Public Affairs Advisory Committee in 2019 for their work examining how to increase medical testing efficiency by using multiple-disease tests together with individual risk information. A professor in the Department of Statistics, Bilder joined the University of Nebraska-Lincoln faculty in 2003.
