Bio

Kristen Blankley is the Henry M. Grether, Jr. Professor of Law and has been with the university since 2010. Her research has largely focused on the crossroads of alternative dispute resolution and ethics and on contemporary issues in arbitration law. She teaches courses in mediation, arbitration, sports law and legal ethics. Blankley has served six years on the UNL Intercollegiate Athletics Committee, and she chaired the committee for two years. In addition to her work at the University, Blankley is a practicing mediator and arbitrator in Nebraska. (Updated March 2025.)
