Herbicide and Pesticide Pollution

Aaron Mittelstet, an award-winning associate professor of biological systems engineering and a courtesy professor with the School of Natural Resources, is an expert in watershed modeling, interaction between surface and groundwater, water quality and streambank erosion. He has published research on pesticide exposure in recreational lakes and on interventions for reducing nutrients, Atrazine and E. Coli concentrations in a watershed. (Updated November 2024.)
