Bio
Hope, who holds a Ph.D. in clinical psychology from the University at Albany-State University of New York, is director of the Anxiety Disorders Clinic, one of the specialty services within UNL’s Psychological Consultation Center. Her current research interests follow two broad themes: (a) assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders (particularly social anxiety disorder) and (b) the impact of stigma and discrimination on the health and well-being of transgender and gender diverse communities.
Bio
Trey Andrews is the co-director of Minority Health Disparities Initiative and is an associate professor of psychology and ethnic studies. Dr. Andrews focuses on strategies for pursuing mental health equity for Latine populations, particularly immigrant and Spanish-speaking populations. He has received funding from the National Institutes of Health, the National Science Foundation, the Health Resources and Services Administration, and other internal funding.
