Jim Jansen is an agricultural economist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. His current research and outreach efforts focus on finance, policy, and agricultural real estate. Jim serves as a member of the extension team, providing risk management solutions in farm and ranch management. He has a decade of experience working with agricultural operators and business professionals. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Agribusiness and Economics from South Dakota State University, a Master’s Degree in Agronomy and a Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
