Agricultural economist Jim Jansen produces the <a href="https://agecon.unl.edu/nebraska-farmland-values-and-cash-rental-rates-2023#:~:text=The%20market%20value%20of%20agricultural,Figure%201%20and%20Table%201">Nebraska Farm Real Estate Market Survey</a>, an annual report on Nebraska farmland values and cash rental rates. His research focuses on finance, policy, and agricultural real estate. As a member of the Nebraska Extension team, Jansen provides risk management solutions for farmers and ranchers. Jessica A. Shoemaker is a law professor with expertise in the legal rules of land ownership, with particular emphasis on issues of agricultural land ownership, Indigenous land governance, and rural private and public land issues more generally.
