The Women’s Center and the LGBTQA+ Resource Center will hold an open house from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 14. Both offices are on the third floor of the Nebraska Union.
The open house is open to the university community and will include the opportunity to visit the centers, meet staff members and learn about available resources and services. Refreshments will be available.
The Women’s Center provides a safe environment to explore the changing roles of people of all genders and advocates for gender equity. Services include free, confidential counseling; a resource library; and volunteer opportunities. The Women’s Center is in Room 340 of the Nebraska Union.
The LGBTQA+ Resource Center’s services include a library, peer mentor program, volunteer opportunities and a variety of programming. The resource center is in Room 346 of the Nebraska Union.
