A retirement reception for Judith Wolfe, chair of access and media services with the University Libraries, is 2:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in Love Library South, Peterson Room. The reception is open to the public.
Wolfe recently served as interim chair for discovery and resource management and has been a faculty member at Nebraska since March 2005. A librarian since 1988, Wolfe earned a bachelor’s degree from Wichita State University, a master’s degree in library sciences from the University of North Texas, and a doctoral degree in human science leadership studies from Nebraska.
In 2003, Wolfe received the President’s Distinguished Service Award from Wichita State University, and in 2007 was a recipient of Nebraska’s Creating an Atmosphere of Mutual Respect Award.
Nancy Busch, dean of the University Libraries, will deliver remarks at 3:15 p.m. All faculty, staff, and students are welcome to attend and celebrate Wolfe’s retirement.
