The new University Health Center and University of Nebraska Medical Center nursing facility opened for business on July 16.
The University Health Center is hosting an open house for students from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Aug. 29. The new center, which opened July 16, is located at 550 N. 19th St.
The behind-the-scenes look at the University Health Center will include inflatable obstacle courses; food by Kona Ice, Cookie Company and more; music by DJ Phippa; a 6 p.m. performance by the Bathtub Dogs; drawings for $25 gift cards; and free fanny packs to students who take a tour.
The event will be held in the parking lot north of the University Health Center. In the event of rain, the open house will be moved into the center’s first floor atrium.
