University Dining offers free spring break meal to faculty, staff

Kim Scerini, a team leader in the Harper Dining Center, serves a pork chop and potato wedges to Gabe Walmsley at the allergen-free food station in Harper Dining Center. The allergen-free option is available at lunch on Wednesdays this semester, but will expand to all meals in January.

While students are enjoying spring break, University Dining is taking the opportunity to celebrate the faculty and staff who make the Nebraska experience possible year-round. A complimentary lunchtime meal featuring a St. Patrick’s Day-inspired menu is offered March 17.

Meals are available on a first-come, first-served basis, and pre-registration is required by noon on March 12. Each person is limited to one complimentary meal. A total of 750 meal tickets are available, with 500 at Harper Dining Center and 250 at East Campus Dining Center.

To claim a meal, select your preferred location on UNL Marketplace. Once registered, the complimentary meal ticket will be added to your NCard account. On March 17, visit the selected dining center and scan your NCard at the cashier’s stand.
