Nebraska’s Symphonic Band will present a recital, “Motion,” at 7:30 p.m. March 5 in Kimball Recital Hall.
Under the baton of graduate conductor Rubén D. Gómez, the recital will explore the different ways in which composers have used motion as a means of inspiration.
Classics by Malcolm Arnold, Richard Wagner, Paul Hindemith and Norman Dello Joio, as well as new and modern pieces by Shafer Mahoney, Karel Husa and Adam Gorb are featured in the evening’s program.
Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and seniors.
