The Glenn Korff School of Music’s Symphonic Band opens its new season with a 7:30 p.m. Oct. 13 performance in Kimball Recital Hall.
The program, “I Raise My Song to You,” will feature music by Leonard Bernstein, Christopher Nelson, Ralph Vaughan Williams and Jeff Krauklis.
The band is conducted by Tony Falcone, senior lecturer of music. The performance will also include Craig Fuller, senior lecturer of music, on tuba for the band’s playing of Libby Larsen’s “Ursa for Tuba and Wind Symphony.”
Tickets, available at the door, are $5 general admission and $3 for students (with valid identification) and senior citizens.
