The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Glenn Korff School of Music Symphonic Band is performing “A Night at the Symphony” at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 6 in Kimball Recital Hall. The band is conducted by Tony Falcone, senior lecturer, and Bradley Nelsen, graduate assistant conductor.
The repertoire will feature Felix Mendelssohn’s “Overture for Winds,” the “Arutunian Trumpet Concerto” with Darryl White, professor of trumpet, and Vittorio Giannini’s Symphony No. 3.
The Symphonic Band is the Nebraska band program’s top symphonic ensemble.
Tickets for general admission are $5. Student and senior tickets are $3.
