A student presents research during a poster session.

More than 100 undergraduate students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and colleges and universities across the country will present their summer research and creative projects during the Nebraska Summer Research Symposium on Aug. 5 at the Nebraska Union.

The symposium's public poster session will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. and will feature research and creative accomplishments from students participating in several university programs, including the Nebraska Summer Research Program, McNair Scholars, the Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research, Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences, and the Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience's Young Nebraska Scientists High School Researchers program.

The event is open to the public. Students, faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to attend the poster session to learn more about the research and creative work completed by undergraduate students during the summer.
