Video: Mizer's Ruin is transforming design, architecture in rural Nebraska
A College of Architecture project has repurposed eastern redcedar trees to create Mizer’s Ruin, a micro-dwelling structure at Cedar Point Biological Station near Ogallala.
The 200-square-foot structure was developed by students through design-build studios led by Jason Griffiths, associate professor of architecture. The project was conceived in a 2018 third-year studio and is nearing completion. Watch the video above to learn more about the student-led project.
