The deadline for University of Nebraska-Lincoln students to voluntarily enroll in spring/summer coverage through the university’s student health insurance plan is midnight, Feb. 4.
Coverage lasts through July 31. A plan overview and eligibility details are available online.
To enroll in the UnitedHealthcare StudentResources plan, students must log into MyRed, select the “Profile” tab and choose “Health Insurance.”
About 10 to 12 days after enrollment, United Healthcare will send students an email on how to access the insurance identification card.
All international students and any graduate assistants automatically enrolled in the plan have until Feb. 4 at midnight to accept or waive coverage. To accept coverage, students who are automatically enrolled must log into their MyRed account, select the “Student Accounts” tab and choose “I want my University of Nebraska–Lincoln health insurance” under “Important Links.”
