Virtual professional development sessions will be offered Oct. 21-25 as part of University Employee Learning Week.
The sessions are open to staff on any University of Nebraska campus. Interested participants can read full descriptions and register online through the Nebraska Bridge App.
- Oct. 21, 2 p.m.: “Elephant, Rider, Path,” with Dave Dechant, Employee Assistance Program, hosted by the University of Nebraska at Omaha
- Oct. 22, 3 p.m.: “Negotiation,” with Scott Benson, Human Resources, hosted by the University of Nebraska at Kearney
- Oct. 23, 10:30 a.m.: “CHANGE: The Only Thing Harder is Staying the Same,” with Anthony Ashby, president of CHI Health Immanuel, hosted by the University of Nebraska Medical Center
- Oct. 24, asynchronous – “How Past Experiences Shape Our Communication and Decision Making,” with Colleen Huls, Human Resources, hosted by the University of Nebraska Central Administration
- Oct. 25, 11 a.m.: “Adapting to Change and Managing Work Related Stress,” with Charlie Foster, Employee Assistance Program, hosted by the University of Nebraska–Lincoln
“We are excited to bring this cooperative learning event to our campuses for the third year," said Ranelle Maltas, training coordinator with UNL's HR Organizational Development and Training. "We have had great responses in the past from attendees who expressed their appreciation for the variety of topics and quality of presentations.
