Spring 2026 NCLUDE learning group registration now open

Registration for the Spring 2026 semester of NCLUDE is officially open, offering the Husker community a unique chance to connect through 16 specialized learning groups. Registration will remain open through Jan. 31.

NCLUDE small learning groups offer a space for students, faculty, staff, alumni and the larger community to talk candidly over the course of a semester. These groups are designed to develop relationships through focused introspection, helping participants understand and embrace opportunities to create a greater sense of community and belonging as part of their everyday actions.

The Spring 2026 slate features a diverse array of topics led by campus leaders, faculty and staff from across the university. Highlights include:

  • Speculative Design: Building Shared Futures through Collective Imagination: Envisioning new possibilities for our community through creative collaboration.
  • Rebuilding a Culture of “We”: Focused on moving from individual silos to a collective, supportive campus environment.
  • AI & Us: When Your New Coworker is a Machine: Navigating the human side of technological shifts in the workplace.
  • Knitting for Mindfulness & Beginning Crochet: Two separate groups using the rhythmic power of fiber arts to foster connection and presence.
  • The Social Biome: Understanding how our everyday communication shapes the environments we inhabit.
  • Taking Up Space: A vital dialogue on fatphobia, belonging and body liberation.

Other featured groups include Atlas of the Heart, Dare to Lead and Being a Water-Wise Consumer, providing avenues for both professional development and personal growth.

Participants commit to meeting six times over the semester with the same small group of six to 12 people. Meetings focus on applying curated learning materials through self-reflection and practical, everyday action.

Because NCLUDE groups are designed to stay small to foster deep connection, spots fill quickly. Priority is given to those who register early.
