The Department of Communication Studies, the Nebraska Honors Program and University Libraries will host a workshop, “Writing to Learn and Learning to Write: Social Justice and Poverty in Lincoln,” from 12:30 to 6 p.m. Jan. 21 in the Nebraska Union Centennial Room.
During the workshop, students will participate in a two-hour poverty simulation directed by Leadership Lincoln and learn how to more effectively construct a research project. Usage of library databases, Google Scholar and common search engines will be discussed, along with guidelines on structuring a literature review.
All undergraduate students are welcome to attend. Those interested can register on the Honors Program website.
