SLICE offering Courageous Dialogue workshops

Huskers are invited to participate in a Courageous Dialogue workshop that is designed to foster meaningful and transformative conversations. The workshop weaves together concepts for discourse across differences and provides space to stimulate discussion around the examination and exploration of social and political norms, values, and beliefs.

Workshops are open to students, faculty, staff and community members. We encourage Huskers to sign up for the date that works for them or to request a workshop specific for their class or group by clicking here.

Workshop Dates
  • Oct. 10 | 3:30 to 5 p.m. | Nebraska Union Heritage Room
  • Oct. 24 | 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. | Nebraska Union Heritage Room

RSVP here to attend a workshop.

Huskers are also encouraged to sign up and serve as a Dialogue Fellow by clicking here. Dialogue Fellows are responsible for helping huskers have in-depth, meaningful conversations about civil discourse that will help shape their college experiences and better our campus community. In today’s world, engaging in open, honest, and authentic dialogue is essential for personal growth, community building, and creating lasting change.

This event provides a safe and supportive space for participants to explore their individual comfort with different conversations, learn effective communication strategies, and practice engaging in courageous dialogue.
