  • Nick Pace, interim dean of the College of Education and Human Sciences, recently learned about and took part in ongoing research at UNL’s Augmentative and Alternative Communication Translation lab. The visit was part of the “At Nick’s Pace” video series. The AACT lab is led by Kevin Pitt, assistant professor of special education and communication disorders.   • While Husker football was on the road on Oct. 19, UNL’s Advanced Synoptic Meteorology class took measurements across the Memorial Stadium turf, tracking how temperatures change at field level throughout the day.
