Research Symposium to feature undergraduates, high school research

The Nebraska Summer Research Symposium will highlight the work of undergraduate and high school summer research projects.

Undergraduate students from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and other institutions across the country will present their summer research and creative activities in a poster session Aug. 6, 1-3 p.m. in Nebraska Union.

The symposium will showcase research and creative accomplishments by more than 160 undergraduate research students from a variety of research programs housed at UNL, including:

  • Nebraska Summer Research Program
  • McNair Scholars 
  • National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure Research Experience for Teachers 
  • Nebraska Center for Energy Sciences Research 
  • Undergraduate Creative Activities and Research Experiences (UCARE) 
  • John Woollam Scholars 
  • Nebraska Center for Materials and Nanoscience
  • Young Nebraska Scientists High School Researchers 

Students, faculty, staff, and administrators are invited to attend the poster session and learn more about the outstanding work that UNL and other affiliated students have undertaken this summer.
