As part of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s return to in-person, on-campus instruction for the fall semester, access to all campus facilities will return to normal schedules and deliveries will resume to buildings on Aug. 10.
The return to regular service will end the temporary central package receiving shop set up at the Facilities Management Shops in April.
University leaders continue to encourage employees to work remotely whenever possible. However, personnel may need to be present to receive packages in campus buildings. Guidelines to assist unit leaders with staffing decisions and alternative work arrangements are available in the July 23 COVID-19 update from Chancellor Ronnie Green.
Departments and units that have packages stored at the Facilities Management Shops can pick up items from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays. Requests to have these packages delivered can be made via email to Tim Klein, inventory operations and building key manager, at tklein4@unl.edu. Requests must include building name, recipient and tracking information.
