Registration is open for the sixth biennial CYFS Summit on Research in Early Childhood, which is April 13 at the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center.
Early registration is encouraged due to limited seating. If space is available, registration will remain open through March 15. Register for the event here.
Hosted by the Nebraska Center for Research on Children, Youth, Families and Schools, the daylong event will include opening remarks from University of Nebraska President Ted Carter, a keynote address by Vanderbilt University’s Cynthia Osborne, research presentations from Nebraska faculty, a graduate student poster session, and commentary and discussion on the research, practices and policies improving the developmental trajectories of young children.
The summit aims to share cutting-edge early childhood research conducted by faculty across the University of Nebraska system, with a particular focus on building connections among the research, practice and policy communities to address critical issues facing children from birth to age 8 and their families.
The event will include lunch and an evening reception for all registered participants.
Co-sponsors include the Nebraska Academy for Early Childhood Research, Nebraska’s College of Education and Human Sciences, the Buffett Early Childhood Institute and First Five Nebraska.
The event will follow all local direct health measures and university guidelines related to COVID-19.
Event updates will be shared on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #ECSummit22.
