Speakers from Harvard University and the University of Wisconsin will deliver their expertise April 11 at the 10th annual spring retreat for the Nebraska Center for the Prevention of Obesity Diseases.
The retreat is 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Sheldon Museum of Art. Registration is required.
The retreat is a free, daylong event for faculty, postdoctoral students, current students, staff, industry partners and other interested parties offering an opportunity to explore relevant topics and to network with fellow researchers in academia and industry.
The speakers, Mark Feinberg of Harvard University, along with Alan Attie, from the University of Wisconsin, and Robert Kitchen from Exosome Diagnostics Incorporated, will focus their discussion on heart disease and exosomes.
There will also be an opportunity to compete in a poster competition for cash prizes.
