Members of Figure 8 Racing, a newly registered student organization, gather in Kiewit Hall to kick off work on their 1980 Pontiac Firebird. As one of the university's newest student groups, the club is gearing up to compete in the upcoming summer racing season.
Figure 8 racing is a unique motorsport where drivers race on a track shaped like the number "8," featuring two intersecting loops. This format creates a high-stakes environment, with drivers navigating tight corners and avoiding collisions at the intersection.
