Progress made by Nebraska's Commission of 150

Video: Nebraska Commission 150 summer update

Leaders of Nebraska’s Commission of 150 — a group tasked by Chancellor Ronnie Green with developing a vision for what the university should become in the next 25 years — are reporting progress in their work.

In the video above, commission co-chairs Donde Plowman, executive vice chancellor and chief academic officer, and Will Thomas, professor of history, outline that progress and discuss upcoming opportunities for faculty, staff and students to become involved in the process.

The commission’s charge is to develop a broad, bold plan for the future as the university prepares to celebrate its achievements of the past 150 years. The commission is expected to finalize its work by mid-November, with the plan to be unveiled as part of the university’s 150th anniversary celebration in February.
