Clark Potter will team with guest artist Grant Mack for a 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28 viola and piano recital in the University of Nebraska–Lincoln’s Westbrook Music Building.
The performance, which is free and open to the public, will feature three works by Paul Hindemith.
Potter is professor of viola and a member of the conducting faculty at UNL. He is also principal viola of the Lincoln Symphony, director of the UNL viola ensemble and an active performer.
Mack is formerly the pianist of the Honolulu Symphony. Mack and Potter grew up in Longview, Washington, and the recital is their first collaboration since high school.
