PlantNebraska to host spring plant sales

PlantNebraska will host more than a dozen plant sales this spring in various locations around Nebraska. Native and well-adapted perennials for sun and shade, plus grasses, herbs, trees and shrubs will be available for sale. 

Current members of PlantNebraska receive a 15% discount at all spring plant sales. PlantNebraska accepts credit and debit cards and checks; no cash, please. 

Sales are held at PlantNebraska’s greenhouses, 2150 N. 38th St. on East Campus, except where otherwise noted.

• The PlantNebraska Members Only Plant Sale will be from 4-7 p.m. April 30.
• Lincoln Plant sales will run from 12:30-4:30 p.m. May 1, 2, 15, 16, 22, 23, 29 and 30, as well as June 12 and 26.
• The Omaha Plant Sale will run from 9 a.m. to noon May 9 at the Douglas-Sarpy County Extension Office, 8015 West Center Road.
• Wildflower Week Plant sales will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 4 at the Mari Sandoz Heritage Center, 1000 Main St. in Chadron.
• The Community Ever Green House sale will run from 8:30-11:30 a.m. June 6 at 1210 Overland Trails Road in Gering.
• The plant sale in Fontenelle Forest in Bellevue will be from 9 a.m. to noon June 20 at Camp Brewster, 1313 Bellevue Blvd N.
• The Pollinator Party Mini Plant Sale at Schramm Education Center will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. June 20, at 21502 NE-31 in Gretna.
