A $10 million grant from the U.S.D.A.’s Forest Service will help Nebraska communities improve community tree resources.
Hanna Pinneo, executive director of the Nebraska Statewide Arboretum, joined RFD-TV recently to talk about how the grant and the work of NSA will transform the state’s communities.
The grant will help strengthen Nebraska’s urban forest infrastructure in disadvantaged communities across the state. The arboretum aims to accomplish this through tree plantings, tree maintenance and removal, and workforce development.
