A list of public notaries at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln is available online.
Individuals who need documents notarized can contact a listed notary directly to schedule an appointment and confirm availability, document requirements and any procedures before meeting.
Notaries serve as impartial witnesses to signatures and certify the proper execution of documents. Individuals requesting notary services must present a valid, government-issued photo ID and should not sign documents before meeting with a notary unless instructed to do so.
Notary services may be provided for university-related and personal documents at the discretion of the notary.
Faculty and staff who would like to be added to or removed from the notary list should email vcbfoffice@unl.edu.
