The Division of Student Life is taking nominations for the Student Luminary Awards, which honor 10 outstanding students for their exceptional leadership and dedication, as well as for the James V. Griesen Exemplary Service to Students Award.
The Student Luminary Awards recognize eight undergraduate and two graduate students who make a difference through their leadership and extraordinary commitment to improving the campus or community while excelling academically. Each recipient will receive a $1,000 award, presented at an awards program in April.
The James V. Griesen Exemplary Service to Students Award honors faculty and staff who provide extraordinary and sustained support for students, contributing significantly to their success and overall experience at Nebraska. This award includes a $1,500 stipend, made possible through private funds from the University of Nebraska Foundation. All faculty and staff are eligible for nomination.
Nomination forms are available online and must be submitted by Feb. 16.
