To meet increasing demand for mental health resources related to the stress caused by COVID-19 concerns, Counseling and Psychological Services will host four one-hour workshops for students.
The Coping with COVID Workshops will help students understand the unique challenges they may be experiencing due to global pandemic and identify ways to overcome those challenges. Sessions will take place via Zoom at 8 p.m. Tuesdays through June 9.
Additionally, the counseling service hosts daily mindfulness sessions for students, Monday through Friday.
An on-demand presentation on Coping with COVID-19 is available from Big Red Resilience and Well-being. Students, faculty and staff may view the material online or request to schedule a virtual presentation.
Ongoing support for students’ well-being is offered through remote counseling with CAPS professionals, well-being coaching and money coaching. Additional resources include a weekly well-being check-in and wake up to well-being videos.
