Martha Shulski, Nebraska State Climate Office director, and Graham Christensen, of GC Resolve, will present the science behind the floods during "Nebraska Under Water: The Floods of 2019," at 5:30 p.m., March 12 in the Nebraska Union Platte River Room.
Shulski and Christensen will explain how the flooding happened, the floods’ connection to climate change and the lasting impact on different industries and individuals — specifically agriculture and farmers — one year later. In addition, there will be an opportunity for conversation on personal stories and experiences from audience members.
Sustain UNL and #PutAPriceOnIt Campaign are co-hosting the event. Find more information [online](https://www.facebook.com/events/1091706651167833/).
