The Nebraska Alumni Association continued to create millions of engagement points with UNL alumni and supporters to strengthen the university and connect more than 200,000 living alumni as illustrated in the association's newly released FY24 Alumni Engagement Report.

The report tracks the association's engagement efforts through a variety of diverse platforms and strategies – including events, communications, programming and personal interactions - that create a holistic approach to building and strengthening relationships between alumni and the university.

Some highlights of the association's alumni engagement in 2023-24 include:

  • 3.8 million digital touchpoints
  • More than 10,000 attendees at NAA-hosted events
  • Nearly 60 alumni chapters, spirit groups and affiliates connecting alumni by geography, common identity, and common interest
  • 5,300 alumni volunteers and mentors engaged
  • More than 1,700 individual donors
  • More than 23,000 NAA members
  • More than 3,600 personal interactions between alumni and NAA staff

“We’re proud to find connections and build relationships between alumni and our campus for the betterment of our entire Husker family,” said Shelley Zaborowski, executive director of the Nebraska Alumni Association. “The measures in this report show a strong, and growing, desire of our alumni to connect with our university and to other Huskers to celebrate their Nebraska spirit and keep the University of Nebraska a place we can all be proud of for generations to come.”
