Nebraska Academy of Sciences meeting, Maiben Lecture is April 24

The 136th annual meeting of the Nebraska Academy of Sciences will be 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 24 at the Nebraska East Union.

Original research abstracts representing more than 10 scientific disciplines from faculty, undergraduate and graduate students from across the state have been submitted. Registration and cost information, as well as a full schedule, are available online.

In conjunction with the meeting, Deb Bathke, a research associate professor at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Nebraska's state climatologist, will deliver the annual Maiben Lecture at 4 p.m. The lecture free and open to the public.
