Nebraska's Memorial Stadium appears refracted through raindrops clinging to a window in late July, turning the familiar campus landmark into an abstract scene that reflects Lincoln's rainy summer.
According to data from the National Weather Service, Lincoln recorded 6.78 inches of rain in July, making it the city's 10th wettest July since recordkeeping began in 1887. The above-average rainfall has also pushed the city past 20 inches of precipitation for the year, about an inch ahead of normal for early August.
