Lied Center to host 'Rudolph' musical, Straight No Chaser

The “most famous reindeer of all” and a talented a cappella group are coming to the Lied Center for Performing Arts to get people in the holiday spirit.

Tickets are on sale here, by phone at 402-472-4747 or at the Lied Center box office, 301 N. 12th St. University of Nebraska-Lincoln students can purchase tickets at a 50 percent discount with a valid NCard.

December shows are:

"Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical"

“Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical,” Dec. 5, 7 p.m. – The 1964 TV classic soars off the screen and onto the stage. The musical features such beloved characters as Santa and Mrs. Claus, Hermey the Elf, Yukon Cornelius and, of course, Rudolph.
Straight No Chaser Christmas, Dec. 7, 7:30 p.m. – The 10-person vocal ensemble will perform new twists on holiday classics, including their unique take on “The 12 Days of Christmas,” which went viral with more than 20 million views on YouTube.
